Title: How to block bit-torrent connections to DSL-2888 router
Post by: meniem on February 10, 2019, 06:54:52 AM
Hi guys,

I'm wondering on how to configure my D-Link router to block bit-torrent connections. The model is: DSL-2888A

Below are screenshots of its firewall page:

I will be so grateful if anyone show me how to do so.

Regards

Torrent FAQ (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=53677.0)

Mostly Torrents use random ports. You would need to set a static Port on the torrent app and then input this port on the DSL modem. However the user of this app can change the port if wise to this.

Good Luck.
