Wrong Quota Disk Info
« on: January 05, 2009, 04:39:39 PM »

Hi,

I don't know whether this issue has been solved or not. Please see the capture at this URL :

I set quota for user test 200 MB, but when i map the folder using user test, it show all disk capacity. THe correct behavior should be 200 MB too since the quota is set.

Anyone is facing same issue?

And what do your other users show with 20gig caps? Do they show a 20 gig drive? Samba is going to show you the entire drive not the quota amount. That is something controlled by the device software and when you reach the quota it caps you off. This is NOT an iSCSI box or it would show you partition sizes instead of the volume as a whole.

Hi,

Have you tried with other D-Link NAS ;-), If haven't, please see the same setting with DNS-343.

Can you explain it?
