Title: VLAN support
Post by: furlong on October 21, 2012, 05:24:40 AM
Are there any plans to include VLAN/Multi-SSID support for the DAP-1360?

Judging by the silence, I guess not. There are much cheaper aps/bridges out there which offer this. Should be on Dlink's to-do list.

The 1360 is a SOHO platform AP. Meant and designed for average home users, not business or enterprise class where VLANs are seen and used more. If your looking for VLAN support, I would recommend you review and check out the 2500 or 3000 series class model AP that D-Link has and I believe they have VLAN support.

I would phone contact D-Link sales to find out which exact model might best be suited for your needs.
Good Luck.

I do recall the old DWL-2100AP (also SOHO) having this on its latest firmware.

There's a 150mbps 11n ap out there at half the price of the DAP-1360 (TL-WA701ND) which has up to 4 SSIDs and VLAN support, in case any home users are interested.
