Router drops internet, logs show mass of activity

(1/1)

Striken7:
I've been having problems with my connectivity lately, dropping for several minutes at a time. When I check my router logs I see a lot of strange activity. Since pasting the log exceeds that character limit, and I couldn't see any way to attach a file to this post, I've copied the logs from one such occurrence to a txt file and uploaded it here:

http://www.filehosting.org/file/details/717267/router%20log.txt

TLDR: It's well over 1000 denied attempts to access my network by almost as many different MAC addresses and it appears to be overloading my router. Is there anything I can do to stop this?

* What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
* Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
* What region are you located?

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations

* What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
* What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
I would first disable and disconnect ALL other devices accept for one wired LAN PC.
Make sure this PC doesn't have any malware and is a clean PC.

Do a clear logs and then refresh and review. See if anything is still being denied. Help rule out any thing from the LAN side.
Might have your ISP change your ISP IP address on the ISP modem to something completely new.
