MAC Filtering...?
« on: October 24, 2017, 07:45:09 AM »

Is there any way to prevent devices from connecting to the access point via MAC filtering?

Much cheaper units can allow/deny based off MAC addresses.    ::)

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Mac filtering was a older generation router feature. Since then I presume D-link removed the feature due to some security concerns since MAC addresses can be changed or spoofed...
