Test My Water Sensor

Is it easy to test my new DCH-S160 Water Sensor to make sure the notifications, etc., are working fine? I could simply dip the sensor cable into a bit of water, right?

I would think that should trigger the sensor.

If there are 2 contacts you could simple touch it with your finger, unless you are one of those humans who doesn't let electricity through (saw that guy on Stan Lee super human show a while back).
