Nope. The thing just randomly connects and disconnects from the 8 cameras. I just let it do what recording it can and have moved on with 7 DCS-5029L cams and 1 DCS-5222l Internal recording cams that work great.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
