DNR-322L won't connect to internet (Australia)
« on: February 10, 2015, 01:18:48 AM »

Hi there, I've just purchased a DNR-322L in Australia and am on Telstra, but it won't connect to the internet. The wizard has a "Configure Internet access" page and I can choose either PPPoE or Static IP, but when I put in the IP Address / Subnet / Gateway it attempts to connect then takes me back to the page.

I'm on Telstra, using firmware that shipped with the model 1.40

Because I can't get on the internet, I can't register with myDlink.  Did anyone else have this issue and/or advise of any potential solutions?  Thanks in advance!

Got it sorted - I hadn't reset my modem since requesting ISP to become Static IP... the old "have you tried turning it off and turning it back on again" solution, ugh. DHCP now assigns all the values correctly and goes straight through to registration with mydlink. Feeling quite stupid right about now!
