Product: Sighthound (replaces Vitamin D)
Website: sighthound.com
Platforms: Windows, OSX, Android, IOS
Latest version: 2.3.2 (10/2014)
Versions: Free (1 camera, low res), Basic $60 (2 cameras), Pro $250 (unlimited cameras)
Features:
- Multi camera live view
- Distinction of motion caused by people vs. objects
- Rules based alerts, emails, storage of clips
Support: active development, active forum, responsive support from developer

Coolest feature: Quick review (local, remote, smartphone) of clips containing relevant motion - makes finding interesting/relevant video much faster and practical

I've purchased and used EvoCam, SecuritySpy, camera web interfaces, and D-Link software - and Sighthound has become my "goto" app. Currently using Sighthound with 2 x DCS-5222L(a) cameras and 4 x DCS-2330 cameras, all using 1280x720 H264 video using RTSP over TCP.

Thanks for your contribution! ;)

Hi;

I have used, and continue to use Genius Vision.  It is primarily an ONVIF product but you can manually enter the url. I have used it on DCS-932L, and some China brands as well. The DCS-942L can use ONVIF and works well.  The software is a current product the is still being maintained. The product can be used free for non - commercial use. It has an android client that works well. I have tested on WIN 7, 8, 10, All work although Win 10 is not final yet I had no problems. It allows 16 channels without a paid license. I have a mix of cameras and it just works.

I have been using one that's not on the list:
tinyCam Monitor, Android, http://tinycammonitor.com/
also on Android Market
Free version and Pro ($1.99)

I would think that Net Eye Camera would work whenever IP Cam Viewer does. Net Eye Camera is a repackage of IP Cam Viewer. I have not tried it with the DLink, maybe someone else will.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.safe500.neteyeFree&hl=en

Seconded;

tinyCAM Free(Pro) ;  I used for over a year before purchasing the Pro version.

Latest release as of Oct 15 includes menu/onscreen control's for all the common features of the DLINK - DCS camera's.

Reason for sticking with this software, is that it's been rock solid stable on CyanegenMod10 on a HP Touchpad.  Provides enough control and additional features to cater for almost everything.

product name: OWLR
website: owlr.com
supported platform(s): iOS and Android
cost: Free

I've been using OWLR for a replacement of JustConnect+ for a while now because it doesn't support the 934. They just released version 1.0. This version seems really nice. It's fast and has plenty of functionality for a v1.

Hi,
I'm using GeniusVision too and, as reported by JavaLawyer, it works on Windows too (in the list it's only mentioned Android and Windows Phone).
Not being picky, just that a user skimming through the topic won't see it  ;)
