Title: Unable to view/create network map in windows 7
Post by: CMaas73 on June 11, 2014, 04:18:48 AM
I recently installed the DGS1210-28 smart switch and since then I am unable to view the network map in windows 7.   Normally, I am able to just go to network settings and press the "See full map" and it would show all connected devices.
I have read that one cause could be LLDP is not enabled.  The problem is that I do not see any such setting in the switch menus.
I am really confused with this and seemingly unable to do usual searches for anybody with the similar problem.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Maybe this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfgZjUYXGMo) helps. Also look here (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/use-network-map-to-manage-and-troubleshoot-networked-devices-from-windows-vista-inside-out) (section called "Configuration problems")
