Thanks for the post, I really enjoy that torrent client. The GUI is much nicer than utorrent/ubittorrent , etc.
Is there a way to force Deluge to open (associate with )magnet and torrent links automatically ?
Because now i have to copy the torrent link and manually paste and add it in the Deluge web gui..
Also is there a way to remove the password on startup and get the daemon to connect automatically ?

Your questions related to the work programme Deluge. I have nothing to do with the Deluge developers. Links to work with Deluge:

Avoid this garbage of a torrent downloader at all cost, it causes random disk thrashing  ergo making your torrents go "forced re-check" from the start! and makes your NAS HANG! You cannot fine tune disk cache settings since libtorrent is locked and not updated. Actually it's the libtorrent inside deluge is the one causing the random disk thrashes and fragmentation plus we cannot update the libtorrent without making our hands dirty by hacking our NAS and update it from there.

So I advice to stick to Transmission and not from this ****.

Reopening old thread...

I wanted to try Deluge for one reason only: it supports RSS downloading. I wasn't able to make YaRSS (or YaRSS2) work (it always disables itself) but then I read your comment about disk trashing and am giving Transmission a go, however does anyone know of a way to add RSS support to *any* torrent package out there?

Thanks!

(PS I understand this is a bit off-topic, but even a reply about setting up Deluge correctly will do...)
