Title: Any testing of Windows 7 with the DIR-655??

I'm curious if anyone has tested Windows 7 with the 655?  I have to rebuild a computer and im thinking about installing the newly released RTM version of Windows 7.  Has anyone tiptoed down this path and should I be prepared for any specific issues?

I'm sure that it isn't supported by Dlink yet so I don't expect Dlink will respond to this post.  However, I'm definitely interested in what the community has tested to date.

I'm running two Dell Inspiron 6400, one with an Intel wireless N card and one with an Intel wireless G card and no problem this far. Speed is about the same as it was with the same laptops running Windows XP.

No problem so far using a Netbook MSI Wind and internal draft N Adapter and a Desktop with DWA-140 with Ralink driver or DWA-547 with Atheros driver.
(Netbook 32 bit and Desktop 64 bit Win 7 RC1)

Running much better than Vista  ;D
Up to now Win7 is the real new Vista.

A router is a router, it doesn't really care that much about what O/S the client is using. 

I have used the Win 7 Beta and RC without any problems.  The computer was wired to the router.

Second that. A router really is completely independent from the OS used.

That's good to know.  I'll plan on using Win7 then. 

Additionally, based on your responses, I'm going to get the tires on my car submitted for Windows 7 certification.

I've been running multiple versions of Windows 7, from the early 7000 builds right up to RTM.

My only issue with the 655 is it doesn't want to play well with the 1522 bridge (another thread)

I've been running Windows 7 with my DIR-655 for months and it behaves just like any other operating system.

As mentioned early in this post the computer OS dose not matter. Altough if there is a problem with the network drivers one might think the router is screwed up.
