Problem Changing port on DCS-930L
« on: September 23, 2011, 08:20:34 PM »

First off I have a static DNS using DYNDNS for use with my FTP server on my NAS box, as well as a few other gadgets that I need to access remotely.

My question is this, I will be using multiple cameras to be accessed through my "Domain" and I will need to be using a different port for each camera. I am able to get in to the management tool for my DCS-930L and I have it set up properly, however when I change the port on the camera the camera becomes unresponsive to direct manipulation through the IP address, that is to say the management tool will not even get to the log in page. To be clear, if I leave the port at 80 the camera works as needed and is accessible remotely, if I change the port I get these issues.

Is this a known issue, do I have a problem with my camera, or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for your help.
