IF the 857 is in AP mode, then any parental controls should be done by the 655 if that's your main host router.

I'm using NA version of the FW. The one I found is on a EU hidden site however was never published. Not sure why.

Maybe strange question and maybe it's not possible or even useless....
but if I put a NA FW  on and in a EU version what will happen then?

You'll loose some features that are present on the EU version.
