Another test you can try, go get a external router and connect it up. This maybe a ISP modem issue and stability with power cycles may not be good with it. I would try a external router...
I don't see these issues with my 936L and coming back online after power cycles.

I can't change their modem because it performs multiple functions. It also does VoIP and DVR programming. I would lose phone and TV.
I'm pretty sure the problem was the bad MAC entry in the forwarding table plus a bad UPS. New UPS arrives tomorrow, so we'll see.
I won't have to wait too long to test, rainy season in FL means a lot of power outages.

You don't have to change anything on there modem accept for turning OFF wifi and then use DMZ for the external router. This can be done as I've done this before. Use the modems DMZ for the external routers IP address it gets from the modem.
