Figures went down when I had a problem and wasn't just trolling because I was bored. Don't worry I fixed my issue (see stuck button in DGL 4500) on my own without any help (the crowd cheers). If you need to open your router check out my thread. Sorry for hijacking the thread, I agree that an IT company should be embarrassed by having a forum down. We get on our IT department for shutting down for updates at 3am on a Sunday morning for maintenance. This sight was down on weekdays. If I was an officer at D-link I would be hunting heads and replacing them with new heads.

Hey Furry,

Have you heard any news of them bringing anymore ports of Halo to the PC? I loved Halo 1-3, playing with my little brother on his 360, but I can't stand buying a 3rd 360. You would think Microsoft making the 360, Halo and the Windows OS, would make it a easier port then most, yet since Halo 2, they haven't made any others. Any ideas?

about the only thing I've found on it:
http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=42962270&postRepeater1-p=2#45608233

Hell ya man, sure would love to have Halo3 for PC for sure. Always enjoyed H1, I didn't as much with H2 as I'm always on the 360 now. Kinda sucks I guess. Get drawn into doing stuff on the 360. And going to be even worse with Reach comes out.

I wish MS would be more proactive on there games that do so well on 360 and port them into PC at some point, even after the game isn't supported anymore, would be kinda of nice to continue and enjoy. What happens when they only see money and really don't care about the lesser gods. We can only hope. Might have to hook up sometime if you want.

Trikein, how is the SB6121 different than the 6120?

And PS3 is waaaaaay better, no subscription fees, less hackers, better hardware!

From what I can tell, it looks like the 6120 hardware in the new case styles. The 6180 and 6580 had dual tuners though, so their a whole different beast. 6580 is just the 6180 with a wireless router attach. Motorola routers though=blehh.

As for PS3 vs 360, its one of those debates that will never be answers. Like Coke vs Pepsi, or Mac vs PC. Im more of a PS3/PC+Linux/Pepsi kind of guy though. Either way, if it wasn't for their hardware problems, I would buy another 360, they have some great games. I just love how they FINALLY fixed the RROD on the 360......buy removing the red LED's from the 360 Slim. LOLOL. But to be fair, the PS3 has the YLOD(Yellow light of death) but there not as prevalent.

SO is the Motorola SBs any good? I'm still waiting on my ISP to upgrade to DOCSIS 3 here. I tried the 6120 but wouldn't work on DOCSIS 2.O here.

I agree, PS vs XBL. It's comes down to user preference IMO. I played on a PS2 years back. 007, loved that game. Tried XBOX and didn't like it. Then buddy had me try again with Halo 1. Said you'll get used to it. Boy did I. So it wasn't the console that did it. Just the game(s). I love the Halo storyline. And if you think about it, ALL HW has problems. Theres nothing perfect accept for Mac. HEHE. All joking aside, were not perfect, so anything we create isn't, save our loved ones, hehe.

So I'm a Pepsi, Coke, PC, Linux, Mac, XBOX, MW2 and Halo kinda guy. Not necessary in that order.  :P

I have the SB6120 and its great, I always measure higher speeds than what Comcast tells me I should be getting (20 when I pay for 12!).  Weird that it didn't work for DOCSIS 2.0, its suppose to be backward compatible.

Its backwards compatible but if it gets the message from the CMTS (First hop between your modem and ISP) it will still channel bond, and if the signal for those channel are junk, then it will just get stuck in a loop. So yea, unless your ISP offeres DOCSIS 3 modems, don't go DOCSIS 3 yet. Not to say you should buy the modem from them, but if they sell them, then they have to support them, which means they have to monitor market wide conditions on the node that could hinder them.

With that said, when you do go DOCSIS 3, 6120 is the way to go, hands down. Case cooling is better then Cisco, PSU is better, Chipset, firmware, and so on.
