Title: DAP-1316-ES
Post by: FranzEckert on October 05, 2019, 04:11:24 AM
Hi there.
Is there any way to put in a new firmware in this extender / Poe /access point?
There is not many configuration options in the menu.
I need a way to make port forwarding.
I would have attached some pictures, but i could not figure out how to, under Attachments and other options there was no function for attachments.

Hardware version is 1A and Firmware is 1.01

Thanx

What is the main wifi host router Mfr and model#? Most port forwarding configurations can be done on the main host router.

Something you might contact someone about to help you out with. The DAP connects to a WiFi source like a wifi router via wireless or a wired LAN cable connection.

If you need more help and information the your model DAP, I recommend you contact your regional D-Link support office for there help:

We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

Good Luck.
