Title: DSL-2750B IPv6 setup problem
Post by: 4d-rob on January 30, 2013, 04:15:53 AM
Hi,

I'm having an issues with IPv6 setup for DSL-2750B. We are trying to deploy IPv6 over PPPoE. I work for an ISP and in fact I know that the network IPv6 settings are correct on the ISP side as I could successfully establish IPv6 connection on linksys adsl router.

I confirm that I can establish the connection for IPv4 successfully

However, whenever I setup Dlink (And I have already tried almost all settings scenarios) I can't get the IPv6 address on the router.

Is there any general guidelines how to set this box to be able to use IPv6 ?

Thanks in advance.

What region are you located?

Is there any user information in the User Manual regarding the Setup of IPv6?

I attempted to download the User Manual from the UK web site however I see that the manual is corrupt. Is the manual on the CD?

Usually by just enabling IPv6 options on the modem should turn it on. I presume there are other IPv6 options like 6to4, 6rd, or Local Connection only?

Be aware that this model has been phased out, at least on the UK site.
