Title: DIR-868L as media bridge
Post by: FlashGordon on April 14, 2014, 01:28:10 AM
Now running 802.11ac across the house except for a couple printers and media server sitting in office #2 which are connected via a TP-Link Nano plugged into a small switch (but running on 2.4Ghz). Much googling has failed to turn up consistently decent reviews on any 802.11ac wireless bridge so I was considering getting a second 868L and setting it to bridge mode. Only thing is that my primary AP is an 868L also running in bridge mode (modem -> hardware firewall - 868L wireless bridge) and I wondered if anyone has had or could foresee a problem doing this, before I fork out £120. Any thoughts appreciated.
