Followed the sticky for 300Mbps, still need help...
« on: May 27, 2009, 01:11:24 AM »

Hi,

I've got a DIR-655 matched with the DWA-643 and am getting low speeds (54 to 80 Mbps) about 3 ft away from the router. I was getting 130 with my on board Intel 4965 but wanted to make use of the higher speeds so I picked up the Dlink expresscard. I'm running Vista so I had to let Windows fetch the driver and I don't use Dlinks configuration/management utility. My hope was that these products would match up well to achieve the faster speeds, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave

If it helps any, the DIR-655 is hardware version A2, firmware version 1.21 and the DWA-643 is using the 1.30 driver.
