I bet that the source of all this problems is overheating of internal wifi module built in these cameras. So there's could be only three solutions: return the camera to seller, open the camera and add some radiator on the wifi chip, or take a look at the label on this chip and replace the whole wifi module with other module using this chip (if i'm not wrong, the chip is RTL8188CUS). AFAIK the wifi modules used in D-Link's cameras is just an WiFi USB adapter soldered directly into internal USB port of these cameras, and you could use, for example, Upvel UA-210WN RTL8188CUS-based USB Wi-Fi adapter to replace this module. Never tried do this procedure by myself, but there was one guy in russian D-Link's forum who successfully made it with DCS-2230, which uses almost the same hardware.
