Title: one minute problem
Post by: davidl on May 02, 2011, 07:12:15 PM
have the fix for some people. You have to run the microsoft internet connection wizard and make sure that you have UPNP. If you fail the test . it is not going to work. I have a Dir 655 , router with the UPNP. However, the modem was not UPNP capable.

Nice. Ran it on my environment. Failed the UPnP test, even though my router supports it and it's enabled.

I am thinking that it might have to do with the fact that my router is connected to my Verizon FiOS modem/router and then out to the internet. I have the FiOS device running in "bridge" mode.

Still investigating, when time permits me too...

Will post if any success.

Curious what modem's (model) you guys are using, and what type of connection (dsl, cable, fiber)

Try setting static addresses for you cams and change their ports, then forward those ports within your router, worked for me, you can't use mydlink anymore, but you can access them via your ipaddress:port
