Firefox 4 Lockout

I recently upgraded to Firefox 4 on my x64 laptop and today I tried to access my router but the DIR-655 logon screen does not allow me to key into either the password field or the captcha field.  I had to logon through IE.  To make it more confusing I can logon in Firefox 4 on my x32 computer!  Both versions of Firefox are x32.  Any ideas?
