Yoo Hoo! Anyone still here? ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

I'm trying to log into the admin page of my DIR-882, which I was able to do a few days ago.  The router is still up and running, my whole home wifi is functioning just fine through it.  I can ping it, I can see it in my IP Scanner software - I just cannot access the admin page at 192.168.1.1.  Have never before had to enter a port number and don't believe I changed the default - what would the default be?  I'm really trying to get to this without having to reboot the router, as that will bring everything in my home down briefly and husband will FREAK OUT (no, I'm not kidding, he'll freak out!).
