DCS-920 not detected when I use hex key for WPA2 encryption
« on: April 09, 2011, 03:12:21 PM »

Hi all,

I just switched out one router for another. Router in use now supports 64-char hex keys for WPA2 encryption so that is what I'm using.

My Droid tablet connects to the wireless network with the new router, no problem, even from the next room.

DCS-920, not so much. The old router used an all-numeric WPA2 key and there was no problem with the wireless connection to the camera.

I'm confident that I entered the key correctly into the camera interface.

Any advice will be appreciated. I don't want to have to dumb down my WPA2 key just for the camera.
