Yes using Windows 10 fully updated.

Latest FW loaded - DLINK_DNS320.2.05b08(2.13.0507.2014):

I've tried using the Dlink storage utility - it fails to mount the drive:

I've also tried manually mounting the drive and get this error:

Try mapping to the drive using \\192.186.2.24\volume_1 or 2

I haven't found a way.

Mapping with IP or netbios name doesn't work

My problem is same as @wigl301
I can not access the NAS from windows 10 since the last Windows update. It refers to SMBv1 problem. Please help.
Thank you!

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your DNS? Look at the sticker behind or under the device.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the DNSs web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

What Mfr and model is the main host router?

How is the DNS and PC connected to the router?

Can you remove the last Windows update by chance?

We presume this is a MS/Windows 10 issue and would need to consult with MS support about there SMB backwards compatibility with older versions.

You can try enabling SMB v1 in windows however not sure if it will resolve this.

I've had the same issue, which I resolved by installing SMB v 1, using this link https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2696547/how-to-detect-enable-and-disable-smbv1-smbv2-and-smbv3-in-windows-and

Thanks for posting this.

What Windows version and platform are you using?
Makes me wonder if some platforms don't come with SMBv1 by default.

In Windows 10, go to control panel, Programs, turn on/off windows features.... scroll down to SMB 1.0XXX, put a check, click OK, reboot... you should be able to access your shares. SMB1 is now outdated by MS standards.... I don't see an update from DLink to go to SMB2. And I'm not about to go out and purchase a new NAS as it sits in my home and is not used in a company where security is critical.
