DNS-320L WAN FTP and network drive mapping
« on: March 30, 2018, 06:31:56 PM »

Hi all,

I have DNS-320L on my home network. It worked great for me at home.
Now I'm trying to access it remotely over WAN.
I added port forwarding rule to my router, forwarding ports 1-20000/1-20000 to DNS-320L.
Now I am able to access and log onto my NAS using web iterface (port 80), but am having troubles setting it up in Win7(network drive) and Total Commander(ftp).

I had D-Link DDNS setup, but result is the same as with plain IP.

Windows says "The FTP session was terminated",
Total Commander seems to log on but gets stuck on "Server reports local IP -> <my public IP>" and times out with "PORT command failed".

Has anyone here succeeded connecting to it remotely other than port 80?
