I heard that XBL is going to only allow players with good, solid internet connections use the network.

So, if your connection is cruddy and of poor quality, you won't be able to play.  I LOVE that idea!  Why should those who have good connections suffer from those who have bad ones.  If someone has a bad connection they should have their ISP find the cause and fix it.

Kargo, where did you hear this?  What is considered good and bad internet to MS?

Okay back on topic. Last night my son and I played Bops.  There was a host migration in the middle of the game and I/we got host.  I had Wan ping respond disabled.  So know we know it does not effect hosting in COD.

I can't remember where I read it.  I think it was on IGN or some similar website.  I'm not sure what they'd consider "good" quality.  I guess, lower ping rates, acceptable upload and download speeds, that sort of thing maybe.  I'll see if I can find the source again.  It was a couple of weeks ago that I saw it.

In Bops, you will appear on the map 1st, if you press the (small) back button you will be the only one with a 4bar connection at first and then you will see every one else connecting, basically everyone will have a small single orange bar and when they connect to you, it will change to a 3 or 4 green bar.  You will also have a 20 second countdown when the game restarts or starts.

After doing some research, I think it might have been a rumor I read in a forum post.  Microsoft just designates that the XBL user must have a "high speed connection".  I found in another forum that servers will kick players that have a slow connection.

I wish I could find that original post, though.  :-\

from my time playing blackops the only kill cams i ever saw were in noobcore and not hardcore.

nothing makes any sense in noobcore, especially since it takes nearly a whole 9 yards to kill someone and then you have to reload, i found the easiest way to kill in noobcore is just go pro, and knife everyone XD

also, has anyone made a verdict on the OP?
