Any chance you can test a Windows 7 PC?

Changed it to Auto. Get higher speed.
I was able to run only few testes last night on my MSI laptop.  After driver crashed number of time not very comfortable to use the same driver on Win8 machine.
So – yes it is consistently reporting that connection made as 11AC. 100% signal strength.  The best results I got are 24 from laptop to the server, and 17.2 from server to laptop. And even with good strength – very inconsistent. Even with 11AC all the time… seen 11.. 13 thought the hole transfer, also in some cases dropping to only 2. The stick utility reposted a bit over 700 Mbps during the best transfer. Around 300…370 most of the times.

All I was talking about is my MSI laptop with WIN7 64-bit. Had issues with  stick drivers on Win 8.

so - Are they are any Win 8 drivers for USB stick ... while driver sort of works every once in a while, it is completely confused about manager. ..
and  - If the speed I got is something reasonable or you would expect to see something different?

I presume that Win 8 drivers are in the works and are being worked on. I presume they are working on it. I have seen crashing on my OSX 10.8 Laptop and have reported it. Drivers work on OSX 10.7.  :-\

The speeds you are seeing now that you tested with Auto 20/40/80Mhz are very good. What are the connection speeds being reporting by Windows Status and on the routers wireless status page?
