Title: Dfl-800 usage with huawei b593 lte modem
Post by: Fredddd on July 18, 2015, 01:21:24 PM
Dear all,
I own a dfl-800 but never used it, now I would need a VPN.
Is it possible to use the huawei b593 lte with the dfl-800 for my private network?

can anybody link me to a document for setting up and making it secure in use?
thank you a lot!

I dont think you can as the ISP modem doesnt have any RJ-45 Port(s). :-\

B593 has 4 ports rj45, but the problem is passing on the isp ip to the wan link!
And double nat is not my preffered solution....
thank you!

Youll need to check with the ISP to see if the modem can be bridged.
