Title: DSL-2750U and NO-IP.com
Post by: hugozar on December 07, 2012, 10:00:37 PM
Hi,

I have a paid for DDNS entry with NO-IP.com. The D-Link DSL-2750U however does not have NO-IP.com as a selectable option under Advanced/Dynamic DNS.

Is there a way of resolving this situation?

Is there an option to enter in manual DNS addresses if you know the DNS addresses from your NO-IP.com site?

DDNS is mainly presets for DLinks DDNS sites.

Hi,

I'm afraid not. DDNS Provider values can only be selected from a list.

There is no other place, where DNS IP addresses could be manually input? Like under internet settings? If not them i presume the modem is limited to what is preset for the model. I recommend phone contacting DLink support, level 2 or higher and see if they can help or get recommendations for a model that may does support other DDNS options.
