Java, repost this in a new thread here and make it a sticky and lock it down. You might want to do this in all forums so others get more view of it.  ;)

Furry and I did some house cleaning in the Everybody's D-Link board. Old threads and polls dating back to 2007 are now closed and archived, leaving a clean slate for fresh content.

We created a new thread in Everybody's D-Link -> Software Features called Dlink FORUM Site improvements...What would you like to see improved?. Please visit this new thread and post your thoughts, comments, and ideas on how to improve our community.

One of the prevailing theories behind this dietary approach is that the human body doesn't have to work as hard to process food and extract energy. Since there's less strain on the organs, they last longer and aren't likely to break-down as quickly, resulting in a faster recovery time and longer lifespan. It's like putting cheap oil rather than premium in a car. The engine will last longer if properly cared for.

That makes sense.  And I use synthetic oil in our vehicles!   :D

For the synthetic to work properly, you have to start using synthetic oil when the car is brand new.

And, I'm sure some people have purchased a used vehicle and 'think' they can help the car out by switching to synthetic oil.  It should stop wearing down the parts further, but I also think a lot of the damage has already been done.. :/

Does that pertain to our bodies as well?  If someone is knowledgeable with this, I would love to hear the answer.

My analogy was lost in translation. Think of a complex gear-driven machine. The more strained the machine has to work, the quicker the gear teeth are worn down and the greater likelihood of mechanical breakdown. The body functions in a similar fashion. As the chemical complexity and quantity of food increases, the harder the organs have to work to process the food and extract nutrients and energy, increasing the likelihood of potential medical issues later in life.  :o

I'm reflecting on what I just posted. How did we make the transition from routers to this? ???  :o

What confusion here..  This is the only topic thread that can stray off-topic, but yet it's not allowed..

Hmm..   ???

I guess back 'on topic', who's all going to CES?  I will be there.

EDIT: Edited my wording..

I think maybe he meant "back to something I care about". Heh.

There are some things we probably want to try to avoid: religion, politics, Pro choice/life, capital punishment, race, gender orientation, foreign affairs and everything else you see people fighting about on the news.  I think we have all done pretty good in that way though. ::nod::

You may be right!  If I broken an 'undocumented' rule for the only OT thread, then please PM me the rules. Or better yet, post them so others don't do the same thing!

I totally agree with you on this.  I didn't think my question brushed any of those topics, but I could be wrong.   ::)

Lighten up :)
You have to admit it's funny when a conversation shifts from routers -> diet -> car engines -> HDD capacity
