Iphone App Local Mode Not Working

Just installed a 5010L & 5222L.  Still figuring it all out but they're both working using the Desktop DView Cam main console and MyDlink web account .  But using the mydlink lite app on ios8 iphone gives you the choice for local or remote.  Both work fine via remote, but only the 5010l shows up under local and connection times out. Trying to add the 5222l just explores nearby cameras but can't find it.  Am i missing a setting or does viewing on a local network just not work?

What Hardware Revision is your DCS-5222L?  You can find this info on the product's info sticker attached to the bottom of the camera.

What iOS version are you using?
I updated to v8.0.2 and I can remotely connect ok to my 933L. I'll check again on local when I get home.

I was able to connect to my 933L on local mode last night with my iPhone app.
