Title: Add-on "ownCloud v8.0.0.7" for D-Link NAS
Post by: vtverdohleb on February 13, 2015, 05:29:32 AM
[Add-on] ownCloud v8.0.0.7

[Description]
ownCloud is a software system for what is commonly termed "file hosting". As such, ownCloud is very similar to the widely-used Dropbox, with the primary difference being that ownCloud is free and open-source, and thereby allowing anyone to install and operate it without charge on a private server, with no limits on storage space (except for hard disk capacity) or the number of connected clients.
Attention! If you already have a previous version of ownCloud before you upgrade make backup files and data. They will be deleted along with the old version!

I just now checked on DNS-320L owncloud Package v2.02_02132015_UA (http://dlink.vtverdohleb.org.ua/Add-On/DNS-320L%20owncloud%20Package%20v2.02_02132015_UA) and DNS-327L owncloud Package v2.02_02132015_UA (http://dlink.vtverdohleb.org.ua/Add-On/DNS-327L%20owncloud%20Package%20v2.02_02132015_UA). All works great. I can assume that you have a corrupted MySQL database. We need to see what errors are displayed in the file owncloud.log

I guessed that you 320L.
I had the error, but in the download version, it is fixed. I don't know why this error has shown you.
For example, you can fix: install the add-on phpMyAdmin and in the section "SQL" execute commands
Code: [Select]
USE owncloud;
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON owncloud.* TO 'oc_admin'@'localhost';
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;

Apparently you have downloaded the version with the error before I posted the corrected version. The fix was the same day when we corresponded (02/13/2015). Well if it works - it's good!

Oh, that wasn't a question; I said that I didn't find the package itself, only methods to install it through ssh/telnet.

DNS-320L phpMyAdmin Package v1.01_12312013.zip (http://ftp.dlink.ru/pub/NAS/DNS-320L/Add-on/DNS-320L%20phpMyAdmin%20Package%20v1.01_12312013.zip)

It's not my addon. This is the official addon from D-Link. Installs like all other - section "Add-Ons". telnet/ssh is not required!
Installation is very simple and fast! Next, work through the web interface.

Title: Add-on "ownCloud v8.0.0.7" for D-Link NAS - upload limit from 512MB to 2GB?
Post by: placid34 on April 02, 2015, 08:40:02 AM
Hello,

I am using the owncloud addon in the version 8.02. It seems to run very fine but 1 little problem still exists. There is an upload limit for files of 512MB.
I read about how to raise this limit, because for videos it is still sometimes too small. The proposals to change the php.ini files did not bring the right results; to change the complete php ini file within the systrem - there is no way to get there.

Have you anything more to try out?

What I found out - in the former release v7.0 the upload limit is automatically set to 2GB - I tried it with the same NAS which has the Upload Limit to 512MB with Version 8.0.

I am using the owncloud addon in the version 8.02. It seems to run very fine but 1 little problem still exists. There is an upload limit for files of 512MB.

Yes, installed a forced limitation on 513M. It is integrated into the ownCloud v8, file /mnt/HD/HD_a2/Nas_Prog/owncloud/owncloud/.user.ini
Code: [Select]
upload_max_filesize=513M
post_max_size=513M
memory_limit=512M
mbstring.func_overload=0
always_populate_raw_post_data=-1

Why it is done is a question for the ownCloud developers

DNS-320L
owncloud

windows 7 on laptop, and windows server 2012 R2

Other Addon's
phpMyAdmin
BitTorrentsyns

I have installed owncloud addon on my DNS-320L When I launch the interface I get the following error:

"You are accessing the server from an untrusted domain.

Please contact your administrator. If you are an administrator of this instance, configure the "trusted_domain" setting in config/config.php. An example configuration is provided in config/config.sample.php.
Depending on your configuration, as an administrator you might also be able to use the button below to trust this domain."

When I click on the link at the bottom "Add "graham-nas" as trusted domain"

I get 404 - Not Found.

When I try and edit the config.php I get a violation error ( I am guessing its a permissions error).

please Help

Hi all

I am going to preface this with the assumption that I am a moron. I am trying to install owncloud 8.1 on my dns-327L.
I am installing from a win7 home PC. Everything is connected via cabled lan.
I have the latest 1.05 firmware installed and have forwarded port 81, 21 and 443 to the local IP of my server from my router
I have a dlinkddns web address which works and successfully links to my server from outside networks.

I have downloaded the v2.02 add-on installer and that installed fine and is enabled.

Step one done.

Step two. Install the web interface and configure it. What?

I followed the link to owncloud and downloaded the setup-owncloud.php file.

Now I don't know where to upload that file to. So do I have to use something like filezilla to put it to my dlinkddns web address?

Like I said basic. Fallen at the second hurdle. I would really appreciate any help, loads of people must have gotten this working so if anyone can spare a few minutes to give this noob a hand that would be you good dead for the week done!

I Have the same problem as EricG (August 18).
But where can I find config/config.php ?

Thanks for helping ?

You need to install QuiXplorer of AjaxXplorer to access those folders

vtverdohleb's site where links to many D Link addons appears to be down for me so I cannot post live links.  That in mind if you want QuiXplorer urgently - pm me as I can quickly upload my copy and send a link.

Just found my old discussion about QuiXplorer with vtverdohleb and he's kindly posted links in that discussion

philphil 61 you inadvertently helped with one of my issues. Finding the HD_a2/Nas_Prog/owncloud folder. I have installed QuiXplorer and up it pops.

Thank you!

EDIT: Managed to figure QuiXplorer out. Was being blocked by safari. So my domain is now trusted. But next issue.

" ERROR MySQL/MariaDB username and/or password not valid You need to enter either an existing account or the administrator."

I have no idea what that is ?!? Where would I find it or do i need to set it up elsewhere or should I just stick with SQLite?

I trie admin, admin and root, blank.

I am assuming that the first username and password is the admin admin combo. but I don't seem to be able to configure the database.

I am so close now. Any help greatly appreciated.

Regards

next problem : in the admin parameters of owncloud, the version is 8.04. Clicking update gives the message "up to date" ??? How to upgrade to 8.1 ?
The funny is that clicking on help displays "help owncloud 8.1"
Does it exists a package for 8.1 ? didn't find it.

Without wanting to tread on toes or undermine the excellent work vtverdohleb does for D Link NAS owners I will add only that vtverdohleb compiles (AFAIK meaning uses computer programming to make these addons function for us to use on our NAS) and I also assume this is a hobby for him and has little time outside work or other commitments to add more, update older etc.

Therefore based on what I understand above and from my knowledge of this forum etc I'm assuming the update needs to be compiled and is therefore not workable.  Of course I could be wrong  ;)

Argh.

After successfully getting OwnCloud up and running and enjoying seamless syncing from my server, pc, mobile, laptop and iPad I have a power cut at home over the weekend. Now I cannot log onto my own cloud instance.

I would get the following error

Perhaps foolishly I had a look at the log and my config file. My trusted domains had vanished from my config file so I used QuiXplorer to add them in like I did initially and now whenever I try to log in, from my local IP and drink.ddns address it gives me an error
"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '\' (T_NS_SEPARATOR), expecting identifier (T_STRING) in /mnt/HD/HD_a2/Nas_Prog/owncloud/owncloud/config/config.php on line 3"
However I didn't amend anything in line 3 of the config/php.

So I uninstalled Owncloud and restarted my DNS-327L and re-installed the own cloud add-on. I still get the same error:

"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '\' (T_NS_SEPARATOR), expecting identifier (T_STRING) in /mnt/HD/HD_a2/Nas_Prog/owncloud/owncloud/config/config.php on line 3"

On a new install, I haven't even touched the config.php. I wondered if it was getting left behind. So unistalled the add-on restarted the NAS, went in with QuiXplorer and Owncloud folder isn't there so the config.php is gone. Re-install own cloud click on Launch interface and I get the "Parse error" still.

I had read a previous response to the "internal server error" being to do with the SQL so I tried to run the fix they suggest but whenever I try to log in with myPHPadmin I get "#2002 Cannot log in to the MySQL server" error.

EDIT: I have tried every combination of what is the standard admin/admin root/admin etc etc and all the possible combinations I might have inadvertently changed it to and I still get  "#2002 Cannot log in to the MySQL server" error and my own cloud gives me "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '\' (T_NS_SEPARATOR), expecting identifier (T_STRING) in /mnt/HD/HD_a2/Nas_Prog/owncloud/owncloud/config/config.php on line 3" from a fresh own cloud install.

I am thinking I am a lost cause and going to admit defeat and that I should nuke my DNS-327L and do a hard reset to flush out all the settings etc and restart from scratch, unless some-one can give me some advice to the contrary?

As always I look forward to your help and suggestions, you've all been so helpful up until now. who would have thought a little power cut would cause this much trouble.

A little update on my last post.

I reset the DNS-327L and reinstalled everything and since then own cloud has been working like a dream. Problem solved...

Until I added a second hard drive the other weekend and used the prompt to configure it to RAID 1 without erasing the existing Data.

During the following week my own cloud install had been using 99% CPU resources and the same RAM. The eventually was causing my DNS to crash. The fan was going / all lights on the front and the network lights round the back were flashing like mad. I could type in my dlinkddns and local IP and the sharecenter login page would start to load but would never finish. The only way to get it responsive was to pull the power plug as holding down the power button did nothing.

Restart, scan disc, all fine. Couple of hours later crash. I shut down the own cloud app and the share centre has been fine running for a couple of days no stability issues.

I remoted in to own cloud with Quixplorer to look at the config.php file and all of the amendments I had made to trusted domains etc were gone along with my changes to file size limits in the light (something) file too. I am back in the same boat as before in my previous post. Does anyone else have this issue where own cloud seems incredibly easy to get corrupted? Last time it was a power failure, this time it is a switch to RAID 1.

I know that if i reset the box and start from scratch I can get it working but will have to repeat this is maybe another 6 months or less.

If I disable the app (done) and then delete in from the add-in page on the dns-327L am I then safe to go in with quixplorer and delete any own cloud folders left so that I can install it from scratch?

Thanks for any input. I notice this thread has kind of died.

Bit of a ramble I know but thanks in advance.

ShareCenter Model: DNS-320L Firmware 1.07
Add-on Name: DNS-320L owncloud Package v2.03_04222015_UA
The next version (2.04) does not work at all, so I am using this instead.

To do this, the device is still weak, and real-time encryption? no.

the problem is probably in this:
SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1 no such table: oc_appconfig

Why - I do not know, I can only assume - database corruption or not startup MySQL.
Such a problem can not be resolved through a forum. Faster and easier - reinstall the add-on.
Pre necessarily somewhere to store the data downloaded in "owncloud".

For ownCloud addon v3.x requires preinstalled addon PHP.

So after sorting out ddns and port forwarding i still cant access owncloud, using poramor.dlinkddns.com:441 does not work, using poramor.dlinkddns.com:81 does, but that's not in https so not good for mobile app. Not shure what i'm still missing =(

I have this error in log when I try to run OwnCloud "DNS-320L owncloud Package v2.04_07012015_UA"

I have written many times that specifically DNS-320L model regular MySQL does not run on system startup. So embedded in the firmware, the reason is unknown to me. I run MySQL from the addon, but NAS heavy load, he may not be able to start before the database installation. The easiest way to solve the problem - a temporary stop "heavy" add-ons and reinstall your ownCloud.

i'm having the connection refused error on port 81 or 441.

This topic has the requirements specified by the moderator in the "cap" and duplicated in my signature. Questions with the content type "i'm having ... error" without specifying the required information - ignored.

dear vtverdohleb,

I'm using de v 2.04  version of owncloud on my nas 320l and the connection refused on port 441 and port 81.
The last version 3.xx (8.0.0.7) i have the serial number, but when i try to activate it, returns to the same page as if i did not activated
I dont know how to solve this problem and did not see another member with the same issue.

I use nas 320L.
