WDA-1320 not recognizing Linksys WRT160N network
« on: August 11, 2009, 09:26:23 AM »

I just got a new Linksys WRT160N (wanted the D-Link 655 but they didn't have it in stock) and I connected it to my modem. It is set to mixed mode, no encryption, and broadcasting on channel 11. My iPhone sees it no problem. My PC has a WDA-1320 wireless G card in it. When I go to my network it says there are no connections available. I reset everything, restarted, reset the modem, cycled all the power, released and renewed my IP, and nothing worked. No matter what I do my WDA-1320 will not find the wireless network. Any suggestions?

PS - since my iPhone recognized the network instantly I know it is up and working. We also tried the router at my friends house and it worked fine there as well. I am pretty sure it is my network card and not the router.
