Title: mydlink.com cannot connect to my camera
Post by: se1122 on February 26, 2014, 09:49:07 AM
I just installed a DCS-5222LB1 camera on my home network. I have an airport extreme router using a Comcast internet connection. When I log into mydlink.com I can see my camera listed. When I try to view the camera it comes up with a message about not being able to connect.

Do I need to enable something in my router to make it work?

My workstation is a windows 7, I have tried firefox, chrome and internet explorer. I have a 64 bit and a 32 bit machine, all with the same results. The camera has full access outbound of my home network.

While on my network I am able to log directly into the ip address of the camera and everything works great.

Your help would be wonderful!
Thanks
James

Were you able to successfully register the DCS-5222L with mydlink? Does the camera show up with a green check next to it when you log into mydlink?
