Title: DCS-942 software interface for recording camera
Post by: svenmonet on February 18, 2015, 08:04:26 PM
I have several D-link cameras that I monitor using the latest software version of Main Console.  Can this camera be monitored in that program?  I read you can record to the micro-SD card which is fine but I want to make sure I can record the camera the usual way.

Also, does any one have any opinions about the sound quality?  Recording sound on this camera is very important to me.

Thanks.

D-ViewCam should be able to tap into the DCS-942L live video stream and record. The DCS-942L has the ability to record directly to an on-board SD card, but this is only an option and not necessary. Make sure you download/install the latest version of D-ViewCam and Device Pack to ensure compatibility with the DCS-942L.
