Accidentally flashed with DIR-625 firmware

So it looks like the firmware on my EBR-2310 A2 somehow got accidentally flashed with the firmware for a DIR-625 A1. I tried to re-flash with EBR2310_firmware_105.bin but I got an error that I was using the "wrong firmware".

Is there any way to fix this?

MasterChiefDutra:
at that point the best way to try and recover the router is to Crash the router out right..
remove the power cord, hold down the reset button, without letting go of the reset button put the power cord back in the router, continue to hold the reset button for 20 sec. If you did this correctly you will need to set a static IP on your PC of

IP:192.168.0.99
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Default:192.168.0.1

you should then be able to log into the router and immediately see the firmware upgrade page. flash it with the correct firmware and you should be up and running.

**Note** disconnect all ethernet cables from the router before attempting to crash.

Didn't work. I was able to crash the device and connected to it and saw the upgrade page, and I uploaded EBR2310_firmware_105.bin which appeared to work, but the router constantly reboots dropping all the connections. I can no longer connect to the router at all, unless I crash it again.

It's behaving a bit like I'm using the wrong firmware.

MasterChiefDutra:
Silly question.. are you sure you have an EBR router?

rmcdaniel:
Yup, it says EBR-2310 right on the front of it. the part number is: BEBR2310A...A2
