Title: Wireless devices can't see wired devices
Post by: lgoodwin on July 28, 2017, 12:06:31 PM
I had a bad crash loading a recent windows system update and had to rebuild. Now my wired devices cannot see some of the wireless devices and vice versa.I am running a d890L with firmware 1.10. the router show all wired devices and a cell phone and printer connected by wireless. It does not show either a laptop or a tablet that are both running and connected by wireless (they do have network access, because they both have internet access). The laptop and the tablet see each other but not any of the printers nor the NAS (wh8ch is wired to the LAN). I am sort of dumbfounded on where to start looking for the problem. Any ideas would be appreciated. I am gong to reboot the outer yet again. It hasn't help in the past, but .....

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations

Are the devices showing on the connected clients list on the router?
Have you made any changes on the router since Windows was rebuilt?
Are all devices connected to the 890L or thru some other AP or connection by chance?

You might give v1.11 B02 Beta a try:

I guess I should say "never mind." It seems my wireless devices were connect through the guest connection by default. Once I connected them with full access -- viola! everything appeared.

Glad you found the issue.

You might load up v1.11 B02 at some point. Big improvement on wireless.

Enjoy.  ;)
