Motion detection activates when light varies intensity

I have a dcs932L with 1.09 firmware version
Motion detection activates and sends me e-mail when varying the sunlight or when I turn on a light bulb. Therefore, in a day I receive dozens of emails. I set the sensitivity to 20% but does not change anything.  since I bought it (some years ago) I have always had this problem. What do you suggest?
