any changes from Firmware update?

I am not sure what stopped this from happening...

I did change my router in my network recently... but before that I would always get my streaming extremely choppy... specially while the wireless was encrypted because it would take ages to decrypt the data packets in order to provide proper live streaming. in earlier versions I was told by dlink tech support to either do mac address filter and disable my wireless encryption. which was only a temp solution in any network environment that's never a save solution. SO i guess leading into my real question is what are the major changes in the most recent firmware that stopped this? I'm not even getting out of sync audio like I use to in all my video streaming's...

it's been great so keep the updates coming :)
