Won't stay connected to laptop
« on: January 25, 2020, 11:46:00 AM »

Hi,

Bought a new Dell Inspiron and I can use the Easy Search program to find my DNS-323 and mount/connect properly to the laptop, but after the laptop is re-booted the Drive is listed but with a big red X. It can't be accessed. If I remove the drive and run Easy Search again it will work until the laptop is turned off again.

Is there a setting on the laptop that I need to change? All these years with the DNS-323 and all sorts of PCs/laptops I've never had this issue.

Thanks for any advice!

Would be a windows issue, not a DNS. Be sure you selected reconnect at signing when you map drive.
