Title: Getting an alarm notification
Post by: lhoward73 on April 08, 2018, 06:05:36 PM
Hi,
I have setup my DCS5222l to point at a window where we had a break in. I have activated PIR. I want to get something more than a standard notification should there be movement at this window - especially if I am asleep. I'm using an iPhone and can't change the notification sound to anything sufficiently loud enough. Is there a way to get some type of alarm to sound when there is motion on this camera?
Happy to use a 3rd party app if that will work better.

Thanks.

Hmmmm... If you check the camera it has a DI/DO port. This might be what you are looking for if you want to attach an alarm to the camera.
