Firmware rev?
« on: January 20, 2009, 11:08:49 AM »

I have four of the potentially-bad Seagate 1TB drives.  (More info at http://seagate.custkb.com/seagate/crm/selfservice/news.jsp?DocId=207931.)

Only certain firmware revs are affected.  Does anyone know how to detect the FW version via the DNS-343?  In the Status tab, it lists model and serial number, but not the "revision" field.

Thanks!

Short of shutting down the DNS and pulling each HDD to look at the label, no.

Cheers,

I am sorry but you cannot tell the FW version from the DNS-343 interface.
