Title: Rebooting stuck at 100%
Post by: Rhabcp on March 10, 2018, 05:36:30 AM
Hi everyone,  :)

Here’s the thing I bought a DAP 1360 to use it as an extender and I’m quite having a problem with its configuration.

When I open the dlinkap page and change and the parameters, everything seems fine until I have to save the settings, the loading goes to 100% then its like the browser is trying to endlessly open a new page but in vain.. any ideas ?  ???

What browser are you using? Try IE11, FF or Opera

To be honest I’m quite a newbie in all this so there goes nothing.

- The Hardware is this one : http://www.noelshack.com/2018-10-7-1520754783-5bb76ab7-704e-44aa-a6c3-cdc9ed36970b.jpeg

- I’m not sure to know how much I determine the Firmware.

- The region is in Algeria, North Africa.

I would try a factory reset with the DAP using one of the other browser mentioned.
If there still is a problem after this, I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please

It eventually worked, I tried with Opera and instead of loading endlessly the page it took a bit of time, displayed an “the server took too long to respond” page then opened the login page.

Thanks for the help!

If you are connecting wirelessly, when you reboot possibly your device is connecting to another Wi-Fi network (ie your router) since the extender will drop connectivity during reboot. Your browser will then time out. Once you reconnect to the extender refresh your browser or close/reopen and log back into the UI.
