Dlink DSL 224 - Unable to Ping other machines
« on: August 08, 2017, 03:00:19 AM »

Hi,

I have received this particular wifi modem from my internet service provider. One of the problems I am facing is that if I connect multiple computers over LAN, I am not able to ping one machine from the other. Is there some setting in the router that I can change to correct this problem?

Regards,
Indrajit

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your modem? Look at the sticker under modem.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the modems web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Might check the user manual for any information regarding wireless partitioning or separation.

If this was given to you by your ISP, then you might contact them and ask for help and information on this...
