WZCSLDR2.EXE CPU > 50%
« on: June 05, 2009, 02:38:06 PM »

In some internet research, I understand that  WZCSLDR2.EVE is a driver/program for the D-link USB wireless devices.  I have the DWA-140.
From time to time, almost daily, this file goes to 50% CPU, as shown by Task manager, and the fact that my system goes to a crawl.
Does anyone know a solution?
I did post the question to D-Link support and have not heard back yet.
Thanks,

Uninstall the driver and use the latest Ralink Driver for the DWA-140:

http://www.ralinktech.com.tw/data/drivers/IS_AP_STA_RT2870_D-1.4.1.0_VA-2.3.1.0_RU-2.2.2.0_VA-2.2.7.0_AU_2.1.2.0_VA-2.1.2.0_031309_1.0.8.0_Free.exe

Ralink is the chipset manufacturer of this device. The driver works flawlessly with the DWA and the tool has more options for wireless settings.

I had read a post about the driver from Ralink.
I had not seen anyone say that it really worked!
It sounds like you have used it and all is OK.
I will try that!

Thanks,
