Howto gain telnet or ssh access
« on: November 11, 2011, 05:20:15 AM »

I am a linux user with dns-320 v2.0 firmware. I am using the dns-320 to stream media to players on the local subnet. I need to preserve the date-time of the files transferred to the dns-320 and samba doesn't do this so I need to use nfs. I am having trouble setting the correct owner and file permissions because I am trying to do it through a nfs share from another linux machine and not on the dns-320 itself. What I need is either a telnet or ssh connection so I can set these locally.

How do I get a telnet or ssh connection on the dns-320?

Thanks,

Perazim

You need to install Fonz Fun-plug.
