That is not the ugliest rack I have ever seen, but I am at a slight loss as to how those pics are supposed to help me.

Egress means that port is a member, if the tag box is checked that is a tagged port, is the tag box is not checked it is an untagged port.

And as far as getting help from D-Link, the right way of doing that is to call the TS line based on product and region.  Log into support.dlink.com and we can get you headed to the right number.

I think i have worked out how to do the VLans


If a have the servers, printer and computers for each room in a single VID and tag the uplink of the Des-1252

and overlap the VID on the server for each VID. the vlans should work????
