I was having some trouble restoring previous gateway settings on my dir655 and was wondering if there was any workaround or way to view my previous settings other than having them memorized.

Nope, there is no way of reading the configuration file.  If you can't get a restore to work, you will have to redo all settings manually.

I had the same problem with the 1.22 firmware. I down revved to 1.11 and can now save and restore my configs.
